Man Rescued After Hours Trapped in Forest Near Jerusalem

Police rescued a man who had been trapped for several hours in a forest near Mevaseret Zion, west of Jerusalem, after hearing his calls for help. The incident occurred overnight when a group of teenagers passing through the area heard cries for assistance and alerted authorities.

Officers from the Harel station in the Jerusalem district responded to the report and conducted extensive searches in the wooded area known as "Nativ Ha'Poretzim." They located the man, who had apparently slipped and fallen into the forest while trying to access his vehicle.

He had been stuck since the afternoon until his discovery by the police in the early morning hours. The man was safely extracted and taken for medical evaluation. The area is known for its numerous trails and occasional incidents where individuals require assistance from emergency services.
