Dramatic Rescue: Man Found Trapped for Hours After Fall Near Jerusalem

Police successfully rescued a man who was trapped for several hours in a forest near Jerusalem overnight between Saturday and Sunday. Officers from the Jerusalem District responded to the area of the "Path of the Breakers" in Mevaseret Zion after teenagers passing by heard cries for help.

The man was found trapped beneath a tree. Initial investigation at the scene indicated that the individual had been walking on a path to check on his vehicle when he slipped and fell into the forest area. He remained there for several hours, from the afternoon until his discovery by police in the early morning.

Police reported that officers safely extracted the man, who was then transferred for further medical evaluation and treatment. The rescue operation involved extensive searches within the forest area.
