Jerusalem Police Block Access to Western Wall Due to Extreme Crowds
Israeli police announced Sunday that all entrances to the Western Wall plaza in Jerusalem have been blocked to private vehicles due to severe traffic congestion. The parking lots in the immediate vicinity of the holy site are completely full, preventing further car access.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid driving to the area and instead park in designated remote lots, including those at Mount Herzl, Nachal Tzuf, and Giv'at HaTachmoshet. From these locations, visitors can reach the Western Wall via the light rail or increased bus services.
