Arab Academic College in Haifa Awards Professor Title to Drue Rafie Safadi

The Academic College of Education in Haifa has been authorized by the Council for Higher Education to grant the title of Professor to Dr. Rafie Safadi. This marks another academic achievement for the college and its faculty.

Zaki Kamal, the college's general director, stated during a ceremony that this accreditation is a testament to the college's commitment to academic excellence and its role in fostering distinguished faculty. He emphasized the college's dedication to supporting its lecturers in achieving the highest academic ranks.

Professor Randa Kheir Abbas, the college's president, highlighted that Safadi's promotion is a result of the college's strategic approach, which prioritizes continuous scientific research, publication in top-tier journals, and participation in academic conferences. She affirmed the college's commitment to providing a supportive environment for its faculty to foster their professional growth.

The Council for Higher Education officially informed Professor Kheir Abbas of its decision on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Dr. Safadi, who heads the Master's degree program with a thesis and the Research Authority, has been a senior lecturer at the college for many years.

Safadi's promotion follows other recent professorial appointments at the college. Professor Kheir Abbas herself received the full professorship in June 2026. Other faculty members promoted to Professor within the last two years include Professor Hussein Hamza (November 2024), Professor Ibrahim Asadi (May 2025), and Professor Amal Ruslan (August 2025).
