Suspect Arrested in Nazareth Double Murder Case

Police have arrested a 29-year-old resident of Yafia, in the Galilee region, in connection with the double murder of Khaled and Majd Mahajna. The father and son, both residents of Yafia, were shot and killed in Nazareth on the evening of December 20, 2025. Following an extensive covert investigation, officers from the Northern District's YAMAR unit and MAGAV forces searched the suspect's home on the morning of September 27 and took him into custody. The Nof HaGalil-Nazareth Magistrate's Court extended his detention until October 1. The investigation is ongoing.
