Spinka Rebbe Marks 50 Years Since Grandfather's Passing

The current Rebbe of Spinka, Rabbi Nachman Kahana, held a special gathering in his Sukkah in Bnei Brak on Tuesday evening to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of his grandfather, Rabbi Nachman Kahana, the author of the book 'Da'at Cohen' and the previous Rebbe of Spinka.

The event, known as a 'Tish' in Hasidic tradition, was attended by the Rebbe's brothers, who are also Rebbes, his brother-in-law the Rebbe of Bergaz, and Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Shapiro, head of the 'Machzikei Hadat' rabbinical court. Numerous Hasidim from across Israel also flocked to the gathering, which took place in the courtyard of the Spinka Beit Midrash (study hall).

The commemoration marked a significant milestone, celebrating five decades since the passing of the revered 'Da'at Cohen,' a prominent figure whose legacy continues to be honored by his descendants and followers.
