Spinka Rebbe Rescues Grandchildren of Nadvorna and Kosov Vizhnitz Rebbes on Saturday Night

The Spinka Rebbe performed a significant act of rescue on Saturday night, saving the grandchildren of the Nadvorna and Kosov Vizhnitz Rebbes. This event took place amid a series of notable Hasidic gatherings and commemorations across various locations. Concurrently, the Satmar Vizhnitz Rebbe is spending days of rest in the Austrian resort town of Kreischberg, where he was seen with family and close associates.

In Kiryat Gat, the Kretshnif Rebbe mourned the destruction of the Temple on Tisha B'Av night and day, leading a large public 'Kiddush Levana' ceremony after the fast. Similarly, the Montreal Vizhnitz Rebbe held a completion ceremony for a Talmudic tractate at the Belz Hasidic synagogue in Canada, continuing the tradition of his father.

Other Hasidic leaders marked the period of mourning and preparation for the upcoming Jewish holidays with prayer gatherings and inspirational talks. For example, the Bastan Rebbe led a strengthening assembly for young Hasidic men at the Western Wall, emphasizing the yearning for Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, thousands gathered for a thanksgiving meal hosted by the Skulen Rebbe of Jerusalem, celebrating the rescue of their revered ancestors from imprisonment in Romania. Various Hasidic courts across Jerusalem and beyond held emotional memorials and prayers for the Temple's destruction, including the Dushinsky, Spinka, and Zvehil Rebbes.
