Premishlan Rebbe Holds Memorial Tisch for Father, the Kretshnif Tzaddik, on 57th Yahrtzeit
In Bnei Brak, the Premishlan Hasidic community gathered at the large tish hall to commemorate the 57th yahrtzeit of the Rebbe's father, the holy Kretshnif Rebbe Rabbi David Moshe zt"l. The current Premishlan Rebbe led the event, expanding on his father's teachings and legacy despite his short life. The gathering included traditional study of Talmudic tractates and singing of standards as instructed by the Rebbe.
This memorial tish is part of a broader series of significant Hasidic events occurring recently, including large protests organized by the Vizhnitz Rebbe against judicial system figures over perceived attacks on Torah scholars. Hundreds of yeshiva students are set to demonstrate with Talmudic texts and banners.
Other notable Hasidic occasions include the Spinka Kahana Rebbe serving as the kohen for a rare "Pidyon Haben" ceremony for an elderly man in Belz, the Arlozorov Rebbe inaugurating a new study hall in Beit Shemesh with his son and grandson, and the Zvhil Rebbe holding a memorial tish for the "Or HaChaim" Rebbe in Beitar Illit.
Additionally, the Bobov 45 Rebbe recently visited Union City for his granddaughter's engagement celebration, and the Zutshka Amshna Rebbe marked the yahrtzeit of his ancestor with a tish and a celebratory "Sheva Brachot" event. Other communities such as Satmar and Sanz Kloiznburg have also held major gatherings and memorial events.
These events highlight the vibrant spiritual life and communal solidarity within various Hasidic sects, emphasizing remembrance of revered leaders and ongoing dedication to Torah study and tradition.
