Kretshnif Hasidim Mark 57th Yahrtzeit with Bar Mitzvah Celebration in Rehovot

The Kretshnif Hasidic community recently commemorated the 57th yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) of their revered Rebbe, Rabbi David Moshe of Kretshnif, of blessed memory. The event was led by his son and successor, the current Kretshnif Rebbe, and took place in the Kretshnif neighborhood of Rehovot.

The Rebbe and his followers visited the gravesite at the local cemetery to honor Rabbi David Moshe's memory. Following this, a festive tish (gathering) was held, which was combined with the joyous occasion of the bar mitzvah of the Rebbe's great-grandson. This boy is also the grandson of the Ziditshov-Weretzky Rebbe, linking two prominent Hasidic dynasties.

The celebration was documented by photographer Shuki Lerer, who captured moments from the yahrtzeit and bar mitzvah festivities. This annual event continues to strengthen the bonds within the Kretshnif community and honors the legacy of their founding Rebbe.
