Israir Adds Casablanca to Morocco Flights, Offering Open-Jaw Itineraries

Israeli airline Israir is expanding its operations in Morocco by requesting approval for a new weekly direct flight to Casablanca, in addition to its existing flights to Marrakech. If approved, this new route, expected to launch in early November, would allow travelers to create open-jaw itineraries, flying into one Moroccan city and departing from another without needing to backtrack.

Currently, Israir operates two weekly flights to Marrakech. The proposed Casablanca service, subject to regulatory approval, would add a third destination in Morocco. This expansion aims to provide Israeli tourists with more flexible vacation planning options, enabling them to combine visits to both cities within a single trip.

Morocco has become an increasingly popular destination for Israelis since resuming flight activity. The ability to construct multi-city trips, such as starting in Marrakech and flying home from Casablanca, or vice versa, offers a significant advantage for those seeking to explore the country more extensively. This flexibility caters to various travel styles, from short getaways to longer, more organized tours of up to 9 or 12 nights.
