Eyal Berkovich Defends Yair Golan in Heated TV Debate

During a broadcast on Channel 13's "Moria and Berkovich," host Eyal Berkovich engaged in a heated on-air confrontation, defending Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats party, against criticism from other panelists. Berkovich, known for his outspoken nature, expressed disgust at the panel's remarks, stating, "What you are doing here on the panel is disgusting, it is delegitimization of Yair Golan."

Berkovich lauded Golan's military and personal contributions to Israel, highlighting his 40 years as a fighter for the country, his lifelong military service, and his family of five children serving as officers in the IDF. He described Golan as embodying "the beautiful Land of Israel."

The incident follows a previous on-air clash where Berkovich refused to continue an interview with attorney David Peter, who is ranked 16th on the Likud party's list for upcoming elections. Berkovich accused Peter of evading questions and sticking to talking points, alleging that Netanyahu was bringing Likud members into the party to save himself from legal proceedings and that their goal was to control the courts.
