NBA Guard Josh Christopher Joins Israeli Basketball Club Ness Ziona
Israeli basketball club Ironi Ness Ziona has signed American guard Josh Christopher, who previously played in the NBA and the Chinese league. Christopher, 24, stands at 1.95 meters tall and brings experience from 152 NBA appearances with the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat. He was a first-round draft pick in 2021 after playing at Arizona State University.
Christopher replaces Bryce Brown, who was surprisingly released by the team. The American guard began last season in the G League before moving to Shenzhen in the Chinese league, where he averaged 13.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. In his NBA career, he averaged 6.5 points per game, shooting 27% from three-point range, with his rookie season showing stronger numbers of 7.9 points, 2 assists, and 2.5 rebounds.
Upon signing, Christopher expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Proud to join Ness Ziona. I am ready to start working and look forward to taking the court in front of our fans. Excited to get started."
