Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a strong statement asserting that Iran must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. The declaration was made on his social media platform, Truth Social, written in all capital letters and punctuated with three exclamation marks: "Iran cannot have nuclear weapons!!!"

This statement comes amid reports suggesting a potential escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran. The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Trump rejected a deal proposed by Tehran. According to the report, the U.S. might resume strikes against Iran following the midterm elections in November.
