Scorpion Sting Leaves Young Girl in Moderate Condition in Negev
A 6-year-old girl was stung by a yellow scorpion and is in moderate condition, according to Magen David Adom (MDA).
The incident occurred near the Midreshet Ben-Gurion junction in the Negev region on Saturday afternoon. MDA's emergency dispatch center received a report at 12:40 PM about a child brought to meet ambulance crews after being stung.
MDA paramedics and medical technicians arrived at the scene and provided initial medical treatment to the girl. Her condition was described as moderate.
Following the initial treatment, the child was transported to Soroka Hospital for further medical care. The sting occurred in an area near Beersheba.
