National Insurance Offices Closed for Sukkot Holiday

National Insurance Institute (Bituah Leumi) branches will be closed to the public from Friday, October 2nd, through Saturday, October 3rd, and will remain closed until October 4th, inclusive, for the Sukkot holiday and intermediate days. Public reception will resume on Monday, October 5th. During this period, it will not be possible to schedule in-person or telephone appointments at the branches. The National Insurance Institute's telephone service centers will be available only on Sunday, October 4th. Those who have already scheduled a medical committee appointment during the closure period are instructed to attend as planned, as these committees will convene as usual. Long-term benefit payments for September, including those for the elderly, survivors, disability, disabled child, special services, mobility, work injury, alimony, rehabilitation, and long-term care, were advanced to September 22nd instead of the 28th due to the holiday.
