Solomon, who plays for West Ham, had stated after the match that he was unfamiliar with the specific rules but felt that officiating "is not always in our favor" when playing away, adding that it was "not the first time." He mentioned this in the context of Abu Fani's second yellow card for his celebration, expressing his belief that in most cases, such an action would not result in a second yellow card.
