Beitar Jerusalem's Yarden Cohen Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

Beitar Jerusalem announced on Friday that player Yarden Cohen has undergone successful surgery to repair a meniscus injury. Cohen had been suffering from the injury since the team's match against Austria Vienna. Initially, Cohen received conservative treatment in an effort to avoid surgery, but after a reassessment of his condition, the decision was made to proceed with the operation, which he consented to.

The club stated that the surgery was successful and Cohen is expected to return to the field within six weeks. His ongoing treatment and rehabilitation plan will be determined by his progress. Beitar Jerusalem's upcoming schedule includes matches against Hapoel Ramat Gan on October 11, Maccabi Tel Aviv on October 19, Hapoel Petah Tikva, Ironi Kiryat Shmona, and Tiberias before the November international break.

Cohen had participated in European qualifiers for Beitar Jerusalem, starting in both matches against Larnaca and the first game against Austria Vienna. He had not yet been included in the squad for the Premier League season, despite being one of the team's standout players last year with four goals and four assists.
