Beitar Jerusalem announced on Friday that player Yarden Cohen has undergone successful surgery to repair a meniscus injury. Cohen sustained the injury during a match against Austria Wien. Initially, he received conservative treatment in an effort to avoid surgery, but a reassessment of his condition led to the decision for an operation, which he agreed to.
The club stated that Cohen is expected to return to play within six weeks, with his rehabilitation plan to be determined by his progress.
