Lorenzo Brown Joins Hapoel Jerusalem in Deal Involving Milan
Lorenzo Brown has signed with Hapoel Jerusalem basketball club, filling the void left by the injured Jared Harper. Details of the agreement, first reported by Sport Channel, reveal Brown will earn approximately $850,000 per season. His former club, Milan, will contribute $250,000 to this sum, leaving Hapoel Jerusalem responsible for the remaining $600,000.
Brown's contract is set to run until the end of the season, with an option for Hapoel Jerusalem to terminate the agreement after a few months. This clause is reportedly linked to Harper's recovery timeline, as he is expected to be sidelined for two to four months due to a thumb injury.
Last season, the 36-year-old Brown played in 12 EuroLeague games, averaging 5.8 points and 2.7 assists per contest. His standout performance was against his former team, Panathinaikos, where he scored 17 points and provided five assists.
