Cinderella Plus: A Wordless Play Explores Love's Later Chapters

The theatrical production "Cinderella Plus" offers a modern, wordless continuation of the classic fairy tale, focusing on Cinderella and the Prince years after their wedding. Described as a romantic clown performance, it aims to be humorous, touching, and universally understandable for audiences of all ages and languages.

The play is designed for family viewing, presenting a fairy tale with magic and adventure for children, while adults can see a love story that extends beyond the wedding day. Notably, the production highlights grandparents as central characters, not just supporting ones, reflecting on their life experiences.

"Cinderella Plus" integrates various artistic elements, including theater, clowning, music, and interactive video. The characters engage in actions like traveling, cooking, and reconciling, finding themselves back in a fairy tale, but one shaped by their shared life.

As the performance is entirely without spoken words, it transcends language barriers, making it accessible to Russian, Hebrew, and English-speaking audiences, as well as children and adults. The production was conceived by director Roman Feodori and set designer Sofia Matveeva. It is suitable for ages 6 and up and has a running time of one hour.
