IDF Reservist Arrested for Child Abuse Material After Sex Offense Probe

Police in Hadera arrested a male IDF reservist in his 30s, a resident of El'kin, on suspicion of possessing child pornography and child abuse material on his mobile phone. The discovery was made incidentally by Military Police investigators while they were examining his phone as part of a separate investigation into alleged sexual offenses within the IDF. The military police immediately transferred the information to the civilian police, leading to the reservist's arrest.
