IDF Reservist Arrested for Alleged Possession of Child Pornography
An IDF reservist, a resident of the Hadera region, was arrested on Friday on suspicion of possessing child pornography on his mobile phone. The police investigation was initiated following findings discovered by the Military Police Investigator during an unrelated investigation against the suspect within the IDF. Following these findings, a report was transferred to the Israel Police, which raised suspicions of content possession.
Investigators from the Hadera station acted on the findings, arrested the suspect, and brought him in for questioning. Based on the investigation's needs and findings, the court granted the police's request and ordered the suspect's detention extended until September 29.
