New West Bank Settlement Families Receive Sweet Support

Twelve families who established the new settlement of Tzukey Eretz in the Benjamin region of the West Bank were surprised with a heartwarming gesture ahead of their first Shabbat and Sukkot holiday in the nascent community. A local bakery, Kochav Yaakov, prepared and delivered boxes filled with challah, pastries, and sweets to the families.

The families settled the land on the previous Wednesday and were beginning to organize for the upcoming religious observances. Upon hearing about their endeavor, the nearby bakery decided to contribute, sending baked goods to ease their transition.

Shila Swisa, co-owner of the Kochav Yaakov bakery, stated, "When we heard about the twelve dear families who came to the land and established Tzukey Eretz, we couldn't stand by. It was clear to us that on their first Shabbat and Sukkot holiday in their new home, we would do everything to make them feel the warmth, home, and love of all the residents of the area." The families expressed their gratitude for the gesture and support as they celebrated their first holidays in the new settlement.
