Police Disrupt Illegal Camel Races in Negev Desert

Israeli police officers from the Southern District disrupted illegal camel races that were being prepared for early on September 25th. The event was scheduled to take place on a military training ground near Highway 222 in the Bir Hadaj area. Police observed vehicles and trailers arriving, along with participants, and conducted a raid before the races could begin.

Upon the arrival of security forces, participants began to scatter and leave the area. Two minors attempted to hide in bushes near a camel but were found and detained by the officers. The camel involved in the event was confiscated by authorities.
