New Poll Shows Opposition Bloc Leading Netanyahu's Coalition

A new poll published by the Israeli newspaper Maariv indicates that the opposition bloc would secure 55 seats in the Knesset, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc would receive 49 seats. Arab parties collectively would win 12 seats.

The survey, conducted on September 23 and 24 with 610 participants, shows the "Yachad" party led by Gadi Eisenkot polling at 22 seats. Netanyahu's Likud party is projected to receive 18 seats, and Naftali Bennett's "Me'am L'Israel" list would get 13 seats. The "Democrats" party is listed with 11 seats.

Among Arab parties, the Joint List is expected to win 7 seats, and the United Arab List is projected to receive 5 seats. The "Hendel-Zelikha" list is polling at 4 seats and is not aligned with either major bloc.
