Poll Shows Benny Gantz's Party Eliminated, Gadi Eisenkot Leads Netanyahu

A new poll conducted by News 13 indicates a significant shift in the Israeli political landscape, with Benny Gantz's National Unity party failing to cross the electoral threshold. If elections were held today, the "Yashar" list, led by Gadi Eisenkot, would emerge as the largest party with 22 seats. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party is projected to secure 18 seats, a decline from previous polls.

Naftali Bennett's "Me'am L'Yisrael" list has dropped to 11 seats, the same number projected for Yair Golan's "HaDemocratim" list. Three parties are tied with 8 seats each: the Joint List, Yisrael Beiteinu, and Yahadut HaTorah, with the latter gaining one seat. Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit is expected to win 7 seats, while Aryeh Deri's Shas party maintains its stability with 7 seats. Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin's "HaTzionut HaDatit VeHa'Identity" list is projected to receive 6 seats.

The poll also reveals that Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha's list will successfully cross the electoral threshold, securing 4 seats. Conversely, the "HaCharedi HaChofshi" list and Benny Gantz's Blue and White party are projected to fall below the threshold, with Blue and White receiving less than 1% of the vote.

In terms of bloc strength, the opposition is projected to win 52 seats, while the current government coalition would lose 3 seats from the previous week, totaling 51 seats. Arab parties collectively would secure 13 seats, with Hendel and Zelekha's list adding 4 seats.

When asked about the preferred candidate for Prime Minister, Gadi Eisenkot garnered 48% support, compared to 36% for Benjamin Netanyahu. Regarding preferred government composition, 31% favored a broad unity government, 29% supported a "full right" government, and 25% preferred a "full opposition" setup.
