Prominent Kabbalist Rabbi David Shalom Batri Hospitalized After Cardiac Arrest

The Kabbalist Rabbi David Shalom Batri, 85, was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest at his son's home in Bnei Brak. Emergency medical teams responded to the scene and performed CPR. Following successful resuscitation efforts, Rabbi Batri's pulse returned, and he was transported to the Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer for further treatment.

Paramedics described finding the rabbi unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, after he collapsed. Advanced resuscitation techniques, including chest compressions, medication, and respiratory support, were administered. After his pulse returned, he was taken to the emergency room at Sheba Medical Center.

The public has been called upon to pray for the recovery of Rabbi David Shalom, son of Victoria, among all the sick of Israel.
