French Media Criticize Maccabi Tel Aviv After EuroLeague Loss
Maccabi Tel Aviv began their EuroLeague season with a disappointing 84-74 defeat to French team ASVEL Villeurbanne on Thursday. Despite initial positive play, highlighted by strong performances from Jalen Hudson and Yovel Zoosman, and a 10-0 run involving Yam Madar and Roman Sorkin, French media noted that Maccabi "ruined every comeback opportunity with a plethora of turnovers."
The French press also focused on ASVEL coach Tony Parker, who secured his first win with the team.
