Light Coastal Drizzle Expected for Holiday Eve, Rain-Free Sukkot Holiday

Israel is set to experience partly cloudy to clear skies on Friday, with a chance of light, localized drizzle along the coastal plain, particularly the southern part, in the morning hours. Temperatures will remain seasonably normal with no significant changes expected. However, heavy heat load conditions are forecast for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea area, and the Arava Desert.

As the Sukkot holiday begins, a slight drop in temperatures is anticipated, with no major changes expected on Sunday. The Israel Meteorological Service has updated that both the holiday itself and the intermediate days, known as Chol HaMoed, will be largely rain-free across most of the country.

Looking ahead to Monday, a slight increase in temperatures is predicted. Light, local rain is expected in northern Israel, primarily affecting the Western and Upper Galilee regions. The Meteorological Service stated that these rains are not expected to accumulate in large quantities or cause significant disruptions.

Temperatures for Friday and Friday night are forecast as follows: Jerusalem 18-27°C, Tel Aviv 24-29°C, Haifa 24-29°C, Safed 18-27°C, Katzrin 20-32°C, Tiberias 23-32°C, Nazareth 23-30°C, Afula 23-32°C, Beit She'an 25-35°C, Lod 24-30°C, Ashdod 24-30°C, Ein Gedi 26-34°C, Beersheba 22-31°C, Mitzpe Ramon 19-29°C, and Eilat 26-35°C.
