Police Fatally Shoot Armed Man Firing at Home Near Nazareth

Israeli police shot and killed an armed man in the town of Yafia, near Nazareth, after he opened fire with an automatic weapon at a residential building. The man, approximately 30 years old, was critically wounded and later died at the hospital. Police stated the incident was criminal in nature. According to police reports, officers were in Yafia conducting operational activities when they observed the suspect firing intensely at a house with a long firearm. The officers then neutralized him. An M16 rifle was recovered at the scene. Media reports indicate the suspect arrived on a scooter with another individual. Following the shooting, a foot chase ensued, during which police opened fire and wounded the armed man. He was transported to the English Hospital in Nazareth in critical condition, where his death was pronounced. Police also reported that the same house had been targeted in previous days.
