"Krone" reported that the Israeli player "forgot he had a yellow card" and that his "unwise action" significantly hindered his team.

Online sports portal "laola1" declared it the "terrible red card of the 2027 Nations League" already in the first round, stating that the Israeli striker's "difficult mistake" left his team with 10 players for the final half-hour of the match.
