Border Police Arrest 15 Suspects in Jerusalem Area for Illegal Entry

Border Police forces in the Jerusalem district apprehended 13 individuals suspected of being in Israel illegally, along with two suspected of transporting them. The operation, aimed at curbing the entry of residents from the territories without permits and those aiding them, took place in northern Jerusalem and the Mateh Yehuda region.

In the Beit Hanina neighborhood, officers raided a construction site where they discovered five undocumented individuals. These individuals were detained for further investigation. Simultaneously, in the Mateh Yehuda area, Border Police identified two suspicious vehicles. A search revealed eight more individuals present in Israel unlawfully, along with the two drivers suspected of facilitating their entry. All were taken for questioning.

The Border Police stated that their efforts to combat illegal residents and their facilitators, including transporters, employers, and those providing lodging, will continue with determination to ensure public safety.
