Jerusalem Offers Free Parking During Sukkot Holiday

The Jerusalem Municipality announced that parking in blue-and-white marked spots throughout the city will be free of charge during the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday, known as Chol HaMoed. The exemption from payment will be in effect from September 27th to October 2nd.

The initiative aims to ease the burden on Jerusalem residents and the large numbers of travelers and visitors expected to visit the city during the holiday period. This measure is intended to facilitate easier access to the city's attractions and accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic.
