Hostage Survivor Eitan Mor Recounts Hamas Atrocities in Fluent Arabic

Eitan Mor, who endured 738 days in Hamas tunnels, has participated in an advocacy video where he speaks fluent Arabic to detail the horrors of his captivity. In the viral video, which has garnered tens of thousands of views, Mor describes the "inhumane conditions" and recounts physical abuse, including beatings and electric shocks. He expressed his disbelief at surviving, stating, "I thought I was going to die there."

Mor collaborated on the video with Druze content creator Marwan Jaber. During their conversation in Arabic, Mor revealed that some female hostages were raped, and some male hostages were also assaulted. He further alleged that Hamas members raped some of the kidnapped girls and boys, and that one female hostage was killed by Hamas. Mor also witnessed Hamas killing Muslims on October 7th, stating, "I saw with my own eyes. I swear, I thought a Muslim shouldn't kill a Muslim. I saw how Hamas did it and I sat for two years in the tunnels."

Mor, released in a hostage deal nearly a year ago, also acted bravely on October 7th to prevent the desecration of bodies of women murdered by Hamas terrorists. The first sign of life from him after his abduction came only after the hostage exchange in early 2025, when returned hostages reported being held with him. He learned to speak Arabic while in captivity, as speaking Hebrew was forbidden.
