Three Border Police Officers Suspended Amid Car Theft Allegations

The Police Investigations Unit is probing three Border Police officers suspected of serious misconduct, including stealing a vehicle and causing damage. The incident reportedly occurred during a patrol in the Jerusalem area on Wednesday. The officers allegedly found a car with keys inside, took it without authorization, and subsequently damaged other parked vehicles.

Following the alleged incident, the officers abandoned the car without reporting it to their superiors. The vehicle has not yet been recovered, according to the investigation. The three officers were released under restrictive conditions, including a 15-day suspension from duty, pending the outcome of the investigation.
