Police Arrest Palestinian Worker and Israeli Employer in Acre

Police in Acre have arrested a resident of Nablus (Shechem) found working illegally in Israel without a permit. The suspect attempted to flee and hide in a nearby building but was apprehended.

Following a swift investigation, police identified and located the employer. He was arrested at the Ahihud Junction while driving a transport van. He is suspected of employing, transporting, and harboring the undocumented worker.

The van used for transport was seized and confiscated immediately. The Israeli Police stated, "Employing, harboring, and transporting illegal residents are serious offenses that endanger public safety. The police will continue to act with a firm hand and zero tolerance to prosecute, including confiscating vehicles and closing businesses."
