News Anchor Launches Initiative Distributing Psalms Magnets

News anchor Magi Taviivi of Channel 14 has launched a new initiative for the new year, in cooperation with the Rami Levy supermarket chain. Starting Thursday, "Mizmor L'Toda" (A Psalm of Thanksgiving) magnets will be distributed free of charge at all Rami Levy branches across Israel.

The magnets, featuring the psalm, are intended as an expression of gratitude to God and a prayer for the success of IDF soldiers and security forces. They will be available at the main checkout counters until supplies last.

Taviivi's initiative stems from her personal practice of reciting "Mizmor L'Toda" after each broadcast, a habit she adopted as she has been strengthening her religious observance. She stated that this practice began on her first day at the channel, driven by the understanding that "nothing is a given."

Channel 14 has noted Taviivi's consistent role on the channel, positioning her as a prominent voice bridging current events with the Jewish roots of its viewership. Previously, in April, Taviivi announced a new broadcast segment where she would thank God nightly for miracles concerning Israel and its soldiers, concluding with the verse "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever."
