Israel Football Association Chair Rallies National Team Ahead of Euro 2028 Campaign

Shino Zoaretz, Chairman of the Israel Football Association, delivered a motivational speech to the Israeli national team players on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, ahead of their 2027 Nations League campaign. Zoaretz emphasized that qualifying for Euro 2028 is the team's ultimate goal and the "mission of their lives."

"We have all focused on this moment, the Euro 2028 campaign. This is my goal, and I want you to understand how much we are doing to get to the Euros. Everything depends on you," Zoaretz told the players. He urged them to bring their passion and give their all, regardless of playing time, to make history as the first Israeli team to reach the European Championship.

Zoaretz drew a parallel to the 1970 Mexican World Cup team, reminding the players that their predecessors are still remembered for their achievement. "If you want to be written in the history books, remember what those who were in Mexico 1970 are remembered for. All your lives will remember this, you can make this history," he stated. He expressed confidence in the team, calling them a "winning team and a group of winners."
