Israel Football Association Chair Rallies National Team Ahead of Euro 2028 Campaign

Shino Zoaretz, Chairman of the Israel Football Association, delivered a motivational speech to the Israeli national team players on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, ahead of their 2027 Nations League campaign. "We have all focused on this moment, the Euro 2028 campaign. This is my goal, and I want you to understand how much we are doing to reach the Euros. Everything depends on you," Zoaretz told the players. He urged them to bring their passion and give their all, regardless of playing time, to make history as the first Israeli team to reach the European Championship.

Zoaretz invoked the memory of the 1970 Mexican World Cup team, reminding the players that their achievements would be remembered for a lifetime. He expressed confidence in the team's coaching staff and players, calling them a "winning team and a group of winners."

The team is set to begin its Nations League campaign on Thursday, September 26, 2024, with the long-term objective of qualifying for Euro 2028.
