Car Ramming Attack at B"il Junction Leaves Security Officer Seriously Injured

A Palestinian attacker rammed his vehicle into security forces at the B"il Junction checkpoint on Route 443 on Tuesday afternoon, seriously injuring one officer. The attack occurred while a traffic division team was conducting a routine vehicle inspection.

Forces at the scene opened fire on the assailant as he attempted to flee, killing him. The injured officer was evacuated to a hospital in serious condition.

Police and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria district have launched an investigation into the incident, collecting evidence at the scene. District Commander Moshe Finchi and Area Commander Avi Cohen arrived at the site to assess the situation with responding forces.
