Bär Sheva Residents Highly Satisfied With City Hall Performance

A new social survey released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) for 2025 reveals that residents of Bär Sheva express significant satisfaction with their local government's performance. The data indicates that 72% of Bär Sheva residents aged 20 and over rated their municipality's functioning positively. This places Bär Sheva fourth among Israel's large cities surveyed in terms of resident satisfaction with municipal operations.

The satisfaction rate in Bär Sheva also surpasses the national average, where 66% of Israelis reported a positive assessment of their local authority. The CBS social survey, which polled 6,452 individuals representing approximately 6.3 million Israelis aged 20 and above, examines various aspects of residents' lives, including their views on local services and government performance. The survey allows for comparisons between cities, and Bär Sheva's results position it favorably among major Israeli urban centers.
