Yakov Buzaglo Calls for Truth and Political Change Amidst Criticism

Yakov Buzaglo, a prominent Israeli figure, has sharply criticized the current political and security situation in Israel in a recent Facebook post. He is demanding the revelation of truth behind perceived failures and advocating for a clear change in government, stating that after four difficult years, Israelis deserve a shift from the current right-wing leadership. Buzaglo emphasized the public's right to know the truth, questioning why warnings and signs of danger were allegedly ignored or misunderstood.

He expressed concern that a lack of answers fuels speculation, interpretations, and accusations, including the creation of films that present an unfavorable image of Israel to the world. Buzaglo addressed the controversy surrounding a film critical of Israel, urging against a culture of cancellation. Instead of shouting or boycotting, he proposed presenting facts and telling the true story if the film is inaccurate.

Buzaglo voiced a worrying premonition, suggesting that the film, which he has not yet seen, might only be a preview of further revelations to come. He concluded by stating that truth should not fear anyone and expressed hope that his fears are unfounded.

He previously argued that replacing the government necessitates the inclusion of Arab parties, noting that Arab citizens also suffered during the October 7th events, experiencing fear, casualties, and displacement.
