Boy Injured After Falling Through Sukkah Roof in Bnei Brak

An 11-year-old boy was moderately injured in Bnei Brak after falling from a sukkah roof that collapsed beneath him. Emergency responders from the Hatzalah organization were called to the scene on Rabbi Kahane Street following a report of a fall from a height.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the boy suffering from a back injury. Initial investigation revealed that the child fell approximately 3 meters when a plastic roof he was standing on broke. Hatzalah volunteers, along with Magen David Adom paramedics, provided initial medical treatment, including stabilization and advanced bandaging.

The boy was subsequently transported by ambulance to the trauma unit at Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer, with his condition described as moderate. The incident highlights potential dangers associated with the construction of temporary sukkah structures during the Sukkot holiday.
