Vizhnitz Rebbe Leads Yom Kippur Services in Jerusalem

The Vizhnitz Hasidic dynasty shared a special gallery of images documenting the sacred moments of Yom Kippur alongside their spiritual leader, the Rebbe of Vizhnitz. The visual chronicle captured key rituals and prayers observed by the community during the holiest day of the Jewish year.

Events depicted include the Tashlich ceremony, a tradition of symbolically casting away sins, held at Begin Park. The gallery also features scenes of the ritual of covering blood after slaughter, morning prayers, and a communal meal before the fast began. Other significant moments captured were the Kol Nidre service, the evening Maariv prayers, and the Havdalah ceremony marking the end of the fast.

Further images showcase the Kiddush Levanah (Sanctification of the Moon) prayer, observed after the conclusion of Yom Kippur, and the subsequent Tish, a gathering for prayer, song, and blessings led by the Rebbe.
