Trump Shares Israeli Election Poll Showing Netanyahu Bloc Leading

U.S. President Donald Trump shared a Newsmax article on his social media platform Truth Social regarding the political situation in Israel, specifically highlighting a poll on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's leadership. The repost signals Washington's attention to Israel's electoral processes and public interest in the prime minister's standing.

The poll, conducted ahead of the October 27th elections, indicated an advantage for the right-wing bloc. According to the data presented, Benjamin Netanyahu's political bloc was projected to win 54 seats in parliament, while the opposition forces were expected to secure 52 seats. An additional 14 mandates were allocated to Arab political alliances. This survey showed a shift from previous polls where the opposition held a lead.

The survey included 886 participants with a margin of error of 3.3 percent. Within the projected distribution, the Likud party was expected to receive 18 seats, Gadi Eisenkot's political movement 22 seats, the Bennett-Lapid alliance 12 seats, and the Democrats bloc 10 seats. Other Israeli parties would divide the remaining mandates.
