Yehoram Gaon and Aaron Razel Release New Song 'For My Brothers'

Israeli singers Yehoram Gaon and Aaron Razel have released a new joint song titled "Lema'an Achai" (For My Brothers). The song was inspired by a message Razel received during a walk with his wife, urging remembrance for those still deeply affected by the ongoing conflict, even after its conclusion.

The message, which called not to forget the many circles still struggling with the war's consequences, resonated with Razel, who immediately began composing the melody. He later collaborated with lyricist Avi Ohayon on the words. Razel also handled the song's arrangement and musical production.

Razel stated that the song reflects the current sensitive period, particularly since October, and is dedicated to everyone who has given their all for the Israeli people. He emphasized the song's message of mutual responsibility, solidarity, and care, hoping it will embrace listeners and remind them of the strength in unity. He expressed his honor that Gaon agreed to perform the song with him.

Gaon shared that he was moved by the song upon hearing the lyrics and melody, feeling it spoke directly to him and the hearts of all Israelis. He viewed it as a call for unity and support for the families who have lost loved ones, and for the rehabilitation of Israeli society. Gaon stressed the importance of relying on each other and their fellow citizens, stating, "We have no other place, we have no other home, and we have no other society.
