Israel Beiteinu Party Seeks to Disqualify Arab Lists and MKs
The Israel Beiteinu party, led by Avigdor Lieberman, announced its representatives on the Central Elections Committee will vote to disqualify the Joint List and the United Arab List. The party also seeks to disqualify Knesset Member Ofer Cassif and Sami Abu Shehadeh, head of the National Democratic Alliance party.
In a statement, Israel Beiteinu declared that any "Zionist" government formed after the elections must prioritize the elimination of Hamas as a central security objective. The party asserted that any party opposing this goal has no place in the Israeli Knesset.
The announcement comes ahead of upcoming elections, with the Central Elections Committee tasked with reviewing disqualification requests against political lists and candidates.
