Hila Drix Appointed Director of Tenders and Contracts at Or Yehuda Municipality

The Or Yehuda Municipality has announced the appointment of attorney Hila Drix as the new director of its Tenders and Contracts Department. Drix has been employed by the municipality since 2018, most recently serving as a senior manager for tenders and contracts within the legal department. In her previous role, she was responsible for all municipal tenders and contracts, from drafting and editing tender documents and agreements to advising the tender committee and providing ongoing legal counsel for projects in planning, construction, infrastructure, urban renewal, and various services.

Drix also provided guidance to the city council, municipal committees, and departments, and worked with government authorities, suppliers, and contractors. Prior to joining the Or Yehuda Municipality, she worked as an internal legal counsel for the Derech Eretz Group at the law firm Yehuda Raveh & Co., where she advised on infrastructure projects, government tenders, and contracts. She brings extensive professional experience in municipal law, tenders, and infrastructure, along with a deep understanding of the municipality's operations and urban systems.

Mayor Liath Shohat welcomed the appointment, describing Drix as a worthy, professional, and experienced lawyer who is well-acquainted with the municipality's work and the challenges in the field of tenders. Shohat expressed confidence that Drix's knowledge and experience will enable her to lead the department successfully and noted with pride that Drix is joining the senior female management ranks advancing into key positions within the Or Yehuda Municipality.
