Israel's readiness comes amid increasingly harsh rhetoric from U.S. President Donald Trump towards Iran. Speaking at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Trump indicated he faces a 'big decision' regarding Iran, contrasting the possibility of a deal with further military action.

Trump stated, 'I have a big decision to make. Will a deal be reached with Iran that allows it to recover and create a much larger country than it ever was?' He also threatened swift action against the Islamic Republic, suggesting a deal might be possible after the U.S. midterm elections. Earlier reports indicated Trump dedicated a significant portion of his speech to Iran, vowing that the U.S. would not permit Tehran to operate under the umbrella of nuclear capability.

Trump criticized the Iranian regime, linking it to the October 7th massacre, stating, 'Iran's Supreme Leader celebrated the massacre and called it a service to humanity.' He warned of a scenario where Iran could conduct attacks under a 'nuclear umbrella.' The U.S. President urged other nations to join economic pressure on Iran to bring it to the negotiating table, presenting continued pressure and military options alongside his belief that a deal could eventually be reached.
