Cyclist Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Haifa
A young man, approximately 20 years old, was seriously injured Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle in Haifa. The incident occurred at 6:11 PM on Pinhas and Avraham Rotenberg Street.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics responded to the scene and provided life-saving medical treatment to the cyclist, who was found with severe, multi-system injuries and in a confused state of consciousness. He was transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital in critical and unstable condition.
MDA paramedic Uri Ard and emergency medical technician Omer Yehoshua described the scene, stating, "When we arrived, we saw the rider with impaired consciousness and suffering from severe injuries to his body after being hit by a vehicle. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital, his condition critical and unstable."
